As part of the World Water Forum, held in Marseilles (France) from 12 to 17 March 2012, the International Network of Training Centers for Water Professions has been appointed as Coordinator of the target n 3 ° the conditions for success "Enabling Environment".
"By 2015, a program is defined to ensure the development and sustainability of centers for training in water, to ensure the implementation of a program of capacity building technicians and operators in 2020. "
The formal session of the Forum, dedicated to this theme took place:
Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in a room shortly - at a Europa Palace of Europe.
Based on testimonies of actors training taking stock of initiatives and experiments they were able to carry on the ground, this session helped to address the themes:
- Integration of capacity building and vocational training policies in the water sector,
- The relationship between vocational training and human resource management,
- Support the continuing professional education through appropriate financial mechanisms.
